What you need to have all your needs met.

God did not intend that we exist without all our needs being met.

Before God created man, He first created all that man will ever need. That is one of the wonders of creation. So, it will be unthinkable that the same God will want to deprive you of all your needs.

The bible says in Psalms 84:11, that God will not withhold any good thing from those that walk uprightly.

Therefore, It is God’s will for you to have all your needs met. But, having all your needs met require you to have the right key that unlocks the door for its release.

So, what is the key?

To have all your needs met, you need “Faith anchored on right expectation

Faith according to Heb 11:1 is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the object of the intangible i.e. your expectations.

Faith that works must be rooted in right expectation. This is where many people missed the mark. They have faith, but in wrong expectations.

A great man of God said, “expectation is the mother of manifestation” what you get in life by faith will be determined by your expectation (hope).

Let’s look at 3 basis of expectations common among men and identify which should be our focus.

  1. In your good deeds

Many people pray to God while referencing their good deeds. Though, we need to have good deeds, but they won’t guarantee the release of all you need. (Phil 3:9 & Titus 3:5-8)

The truth is, how much good can you do or how much money can you give to qualify for the release of your heart desires?

You will always miss the mark expecting God to bless you according to your good deeds.

  • In your ability

The bible says, by strength shall no man prevail. (1Sam 2:9). Yet many people trust in their strength. i.e. skills, wisdom, opportunity, connections, nationality etc.

But the question is, how long can your strength carry you? God wants you to work and be dedicated to it but not to trust in it. God wants you to have relationships and advantages, but not to focus on them.

Your natural strength will fail you unless you trust in God

  • In the finished work of grace

This is where our focus should be.

The Faith that will delivers all you need is the kind that is the substance of expectations that are based on what Christ did.

Jesus paid it all and your expectations should be based on what is available by Him according to Col 1:16 which says that all things were made by Him and for Him.

If you can be humble enough to come to Jesus on the basis of what He has done, you will always have all your needs met.

I close with the popular hymn “My hope is built on nothing less”

My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,

But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

 On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;

All other ground is sinking sand,

  All other ground is sinking sand.

May you have all your desires met from now on as you put your expectation in the finished work of grace in Jesus name.
