God’s divine will can only be fully realized on earth when humanity actively cooperates with Him. This principle is deeply embedded in the Word of God. We often witness wondrous events when human beings actively collaborate with the Creator. These awe-inspiring occurrences are what we commonly refer to as “wonders.” It is a testament to the fact that God longs to perform wonders on earth daily, but He requires our active participation in His divine plan.
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” – Jeremiah 33:3 (KJV)
God created human beings with a unique purpose and a higher nature that allows us to think and act in harmony with His divine will. We are not mere spectators in God’s grand design but active participants. Through our cooperation with God, we unleash the divine potential to create a piece of heaven right here on earth.
Earth: The Stage for God’s Plan
Contrary to a popular misconception that heaven is the ultimate destination and purpose of humanity, the Bible tells us that God created man to dwell on earth. The earth, in all its glory, is where His divine plan unfolds. Heaven is indeed the habitation of wonders, but it is on earth that God desires to manifest His awesomeness.
“The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the EARTH hath he given to the CHILDREN OF MEN.” – Psalms 115:16 (KJV)
This scripture from Psalms 115:16 unequivocally states that the earth belongs to the children of men. It underscores the fact that God’s intention is for humanity to be stewards of the earth, actively participating in the transformation of this world into a reflection of His heavenly kingdom.
The Purpose of Our Earthly Journey
So, why does God require our presence on this earthly plane? Why doesn’t He instantly transport believers to heaven the moment they are saved? The answer lies in the very purpose of our existence. We are not meant to escape to heaven; rather, we are here to fulfill a profound purpose – to make the earth a dwelling place for God’s kingdom.
We were created to be “heaven’s ambassadors” on earth, to manifest God’s glory through our words and deeds. Our purpose is to be salt and light in the world, transforming it into a heaven-like place.
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” – Matthew 5:13 (NIV)
Minding God’s Business: Our Earthly Assignment
In conclusion, our destiny is intricately tied to our earthly actions. God’s divine will for us is not to escape this world but to actively participate in the co-creation of His kingdom on earth. As we seek to fulfill our purpose, we become co-workers with God, forging a partnership that brings heaven’s wonders to the earth.
Minding God’s business is the key to a long and fulfilling stay on earth. Our actions, guided by faith and love, have the power to transform our world, making it a place where God’s kingdom reigns, and His will is done on earth as it is in heaven.
